Fritz Brinkmann (83) started his professional carrier in the 1960s with the sales of chemical construction materials for the screed industry. In 1967, he developed and completed his idea of a first screed conveyor, which was produced in series starting from 1968 under the label Brinkmann Chemische Baustoffe & Maschinenbau. His machines were sold worldwide.

In succession, Fritz Brinkmann and Ludger Glaap founded Ludger Glaap & Fritz Brinkmann Machines GmbH & Co. KG in Schloß Holte, whose property Fritz Brinkmann always owned. This company is now developing, manufacturing, and selling screed machines in different versions and designs.
